  • Research

Sarah's focus is on water, public health and climate change projects within the Pacific Islands.

Day to day Sarah works with stakeholders on water projects in the Pacific, including a Water Sector Policy and Strategy Development project in Tonga. This involves reviewing and mapping water resources and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) legislation, and policy and strategy mapping to find out who does what and what each department or organisation’s role and responsibility is.

Travelling to Tonga and engaging with key stakeholders about the water resources and WASH legislation has been a highlight of Sarah’s time at ESR.
